Hi all,

has anyone had issues with their EM light coming on? Previously stating in my last post that I had not had one single issue seems to have tempted fate!

Last Friday morning, went to the vehicle and started as normal and noticed the light was illuminated. Tried the usual, turn off, lock, unlock, restart, but to no avail. The light was still on.

The car was going into LR anyway as the paintwork was damaged when they corrected the exhaust alignment a few weeks ago, but thats another story! they {apparently} cleared the fault from the ECU pentium 4 processor in the vehicle and that was that.

I used the car a fair bit over the weekend and no issues at all....HOWEVER, jumped back in this morning and hey presto, the light had reappeared!?

They collected it today and have just phoned to say that LR are aware of the issue, but there is no permanent fix?!?!!?! What? No fix? Have I seriously got to drive around with a static mid changing traffic light on my dashboard??!

Surely its coming on for a reason....or is it just playing with me, I wonder? Seems mighty strange.

Any ideas?

BTW - They also inform me that {should} the engine blow up or whatever, then the warranty should cover it!!!! At £63k, I should bloody hope so! Jees.

There have been issues with air leaks on the SC where the supercharger seals to the inlet manifold. There is also an ECU software update available.

Depends what fault you have as to whether the download will fix it. I no longer work for Stratstone land rover cardiff. Thank f**K!!!
