re qns regarding gas remaining - the system is one similar to BMW and you will get a different reading depending upon;

Yes, if the high pressure pump runs dry, it will kill it as the diesel is a lubricant, this system prevents that, so basically, there is always 10 litres of unusable fuel in the tank to keep the system wet even if the gauge is on its lowest point and the range says 0 miles. |
