Pbox is one of the highest quality 'plug in'boxes in europe.

In the UK we distribute their agrigultural products which gives us automatic access to their car products.

We tested one of theses devices on our own TDV6 and whilst I felt that low end torque was better it did not maintain the increases and 'ran out of steam'as quick as the standard cars.

The product controls injector timing (and thats a good thing in tuning circles) and is better than the common rail pressure boxes on the market such as Tunit, Speedbuster, Dastek etc.

Its a well made product but not as good as a re-map Wink Chips with everything

ST,

Here goes

Cost £595 + vat

Cost to 'unchip' normally £200 + vat if we have to travel or £100 + vat if you come to us.

However, if you upgrade your new TDV8 with us I'll refund either of the above at the time of upgrade Chips with everything

Out of interest what percentage transmission overhead are you using on the dyno to arrive at the figures quoted (ie waht reading do you get at the wheels) do you reckon most are using the same. Could explain why there are some crazy power claims from some people.

No transmission overhead as we measure power at flywheel.

The biggest problems with any dyno graph is that is only as good as the operator, air temperature and density on the day, quality of fuel and the integrity of the calculations.

I myself have witnessed reputable dyno set ups having figures 'manipulated' to sell additional products to customers such as filters, exhausts and sadly engine chips!!

Dyno results should be taken with a big pinch of salt Wink Chips with everything

I am thinking of chipping my RRS but I am concerned about warranty issues with L/R, my dealer claims that they download info from car to L/R central so L/R would know the car was chipped. Is this true and what reaction have those of you with chips had from your dealers.
Thanks Question Michael

It's absolute twaddle....LR dealers cannot extract data from an ecu!

I can arrange to do the car at your nearest Stratstone dealer for you if you like Wink Chips with everything

Hi Turbochip thanks for your reply, I bought my car from Stratstone in Cheltenham.
What would be the cost of chip and what are the real benefits?
And the big question what warranty problems may I encounter with my dealer afterwards?
Thanks Michael
