These get my vote .... ICE COOL.... this stuff, dateless! Aagain, grew up with this sort of music. PS. I finally bought [ yesterday ] of ebay...... that Johnny Mathis CD - Raindrops Keep falling/ Love Story - special release Double Album http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...1&rd=1 mind you it cost me £10 Other COOL songs Can't Help Falling in Love = Elvis Presley .......... who doesn't know that .... more to the point own up if you can't say you have sung this, hummed it, whistled or even thought the words .... .... .. . a good version is by Andrea Bocceli from the album Amore - Under the Desert Sky OK I 'll shut up now " WITH MORE EXTRAS THAN A HOLLYWOOD EPIC " |

Also used to great effect in “The Thomas Crown Affair” Also coming to mind is………. Meatloaf – Paradise by the Dashboard Light is quite the epic too. Then vying for top place from the 80’s for me would be either …….. New Order – Blue Monday (full 12” version) Or FGTH – Two tribes (one of the many extended remixed versions) |

Agree I would also agree with the earlier post of the extended remix of Tainted love by Soft cell, that was a classic Another Pommie Bar Steward down under MY20 Defender 110 SE P400 Eiger/Ebony MY10 3.0 RRS TDv6 Fuji/Ebony/Anigre |

Marilyn Manson did a good cover of Tainted Love too... for those of you who like your music a bit louder.

the best way to define whether a song is cool is when you can say the words "this song is cool" in public |
