Since Rupert seems to be having clearance issues with his 20in wheels and 295 tyre combination, it would be good for him to get some feedback from other owners how well their tyres clear the suspension workings up into the wheel arch.

Presuming the Stormer wheel has the same offset as the 10 Spoke, then the Stormer fitted with a 295x45x20 tyre would have 11mm LESS clearance - problem solved. Presumably Envoy's non OE Stormers have a different off set to give a 25 mm plus clearance. So perhaps it might be a good idea if those owners, who have either 10 Spoke or Stormer wheels and have 295x45x20 tyres fitted, check to make sure there is sufficient clearance between the front tyre and the suspension upright at the top. |
