Just a thought. Remember that if you do choose to drive into a flooded area just because you can.....there might be some poor souls who have got the water lapping at or near the top of their sandbags who right now are praying that a wave dosen't appear....and guess what you provide a bow wave Embarassed

I only say this because it happened to some friends of mine in Newport Pagnell a few years ago in some devastating floods. Every 4x4 in the area headed there to play and sadly swamped a few homes in their enthusiasm Embarassed

Not to forget 4x4's will float eventually which equals no traction. Explain that to the Insurance Big Cry TDV6 - gone

Well put, Josh... I'm not sure I'd say that going out to play in the floods is all that big or clever... but what do I know? Laughing

I agree with Josh, it would have to be done with the fire, rescue, police etc but we do have the correct types of vehicles!! Smile

I'm sure this isn't the last of the flooding we'll see this year. Just imagine the chaos it would have caused if it had happened in the winter!! _________________

England 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Java Black

To be honest I'm feeling a little guilty Crying or Very sad .

Whilst I was out taking snaps and looking for people to help (which I did (one guy in a Range Rover Classic Whistle ) I didn't realise quite what was unfolding elsewhere in the country. Watching the news it is truely awful what people are going through at the moment. I can't for one moment think what it must be like to loose everything and face many months of repair and insurance wrangles.

If there is anything we can do then I think we should do it (but without getting into danger). So if we do suffer more bad weather then chuck a rope in the back and if you see someone stranded then give them a hand! Thumbs Up

Is there any way we can offer some help (as previously mentioned)? Bow down TDV8 HSE in Java/Ebony with Zebrano Wood, RSE, Hybrid TV, and a few other bells and whistles.
