United Kingdom 2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 SE Bonatti Grey

I brought the dealers demo car as it was the colour we wanted with the right extras fitted. I couldn't get anything free - tried mats, boot liner, mudflaps etc. I got it at a fair price though. However, they screwed me on the road tax - we based the deal on the list price (otr), but then not until a few weeks later I noticed that it only had six months tax on it and of course we had based the pricing on a new car with 12 months tax. Matt

I bought an ex demo, but made them fit my privacy tints as part of the deal, come on they were expecting me to pay list for a car which had run 4k miles already. Good thing is though i got all the extras on the car and didn't have to pay list for them also thankfully!

Bluetooth Prep, Tracker Horizon, Mats etc. He added a full tank of diesel which was good and lasted all of 2 days or something silly!

On the basis of the above I shouldn't feel too hard done by.

We paid list of course but got carpet matts, side rubbing strips, a tow bar and an Isofix baby seat thrown in and paid £50.00 for the boot liner. That was all agreed with the order and £500 deposit in Decemebr 04.

My wife got them to fill the tank before we arrived to collect.

It probably hepled that we have had 7 or 8 cars fromthis dealer before but it seems most have just been fobbed off with "no dicount, no sweeteners".
I just persisted and after about 20 minutes they caved in.

Unitil now I still felt short changed.

Good luck for those about to order. 11 XFR

Like most here, all I managed was free mats and a tank of diesel. Seemed quite inflexible with anything else... but then I don't have any history with LR so no dealer relationship to bend! Wink

Actually I got a bottle of "champagne" too and it WAS the cheap stuff. It was foul, we had to throw the rest of it down the sink. Crying or Very sad

Well sounds like I did okay: free carpeted mats, full tank of fuel, $1K below MSRP and an additional set of Pirelli Scorpion Ice an Snow tires.
