My Sat Nav has been intermitantly locking on the Land Rover screen.
I think I have sussed the problem in that I can hear the DVD unit trying to read the disc but repeating over the same area. I suspect that the disc is maybe dirty or damaged but even following the instructions in the manual
I can't get the disc completely out of the drive. I can eject it and put it back in which clears the fault but it's a pain in the ass. I think the only way for me to completely remove the disc from the player to visualy check it would be to remove the plastic panel from the bottom of the seat but I cant seem to get it off and I dont want to force it. A good hard tug will get it off - done it myself. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

you can force it as much as you like its only 4 little metal clips(they look tough but with a little tug they will budge) as for the screen locking on the land rover logo depending on what year l/r you have could be a softwear prob...

Cheers M8, I actually managed to get it out without taking the panel off in the end. Turned out to be a few greasy finger smudges on the disc - Probably from the Tech that inserted it at the dealers (car is brand new, only 4 weeks old).
