Driving home tonight - pulled onto a roundabout, engine sytem failure and INSTANT limp mode... less than 5 mph - no power recovery turned up and guess what fault cleared ! didn't risk it - transporter home and waiting LRA (again) in the morning...

I'll say - cannot imagine if it had of happened in the outside lane (whilst obeying the speed limit)....

Yep, I think that happened to someone here - driving along in the outside lane and *bam*, no power. Scary stuff.

That happened to me years ago in a Frontera, outside lane ,M25, obeying the speed limit obviously, and it just cut out, no power steering, no nothing, luckily it was 3am and road was empty so I just coasted to the hard shoulder, still sh t mesel;f mind!!!!

Needs a sensor but no one has stock - transporter it is...

At least they found a problem MAW... I'd much rather know that than have them say there's nothing wrong with it, only for it to happen again
