I'll say - cannot imagine if it had of happened in the outside lane (whilst obeying the speed limit)....

Confused

Same sort of thing was the last straw on our D3, my wife pulled out onto a busy A road and the car just totally cut out, was traced to a loose earth lead on the inner wing, common occurance apparently.

Don't they realise that these 'little common occurances' could get someone killed eventually.

Hope your fix is swift and permanent Thumbs Up

Yep, I think that happened to someone here - driving along in the outside lane and *bam*, no power. Scary stuff.

That happened to me years ago in a Frontera, outside lane ,M25, obeying the speed limit obviously, and it just cut out, no power steering, no nothing, luckily it was 3am and road was empty so I just coasted to the hard shoulder, still sh Censored t mesel;f mind!!!!

Switched off ignition, restarted and got home , dealer picked up later that day, kept it for 2 days, no fault found and it never happened again in the following 2 years! If you dont live on the EDGE, you are taking up too much space!!!!!!!!!!!!!

At least they found a problem MAW... I'd much rather know that than have them say there's nothing wrong with it, only for it to happen again Very Happy
