In a quite backwater known as Normanhurst on the North Shore of Sydney, i saw a Silver Sport, with an SE designation under the badge, exactly where it should be on a UK model. If you check out Landrover Aussie web site it mentions the S, SE and HSE, but only prices based upon the standard models that we get here, ie. you buy the TDv6, TDv8 whatever and load the toys in addition.

Not aware of Landrover locally moving to the standard model designation that Landrover use in UK and other parts of the world so was wondering whether its an English import like moi.

WD, were you offered anything but a TDv8, or did they ask if sir would like a SE or HSE model ?

I was just offered a TDV8 and the options list.

I must say that I found the sales process pretty poor. It was only forums like this and hunting between the Land Rover UK, US and OZ site and reconciling all the information. Quite often I went to the dealers with questions and I was still more informed than they were.

Mine is a month or so away, I will let you know what badges are on it when it arrives. Just a white TDV8 with a few extras
