I have US English (man speaking)...
Works ok for me, understands most of the time...
BUT, why the hell you have to pronounce out loud the phone number when you want to store it??? Why can't u just enter it with the numpad!? That's idiotic! it's awful - if it does not understand one digit of the 11-digit number you have to go the whole procedure once again. 2014 Mercedes-Benz S500

Try changing from US English to UK English. Mine was set to US English when I got it and it didn't understand a word that I was saying - thought it was my northern accent. After changing to UK English it works a treat. Can't recall the exact menu option to change, buried away in the sat nav settings somewhere.

Ok but how do you change from the man to the WOman`s voice and no I`m not interested in swinging the bat in the other hand just want the VR to work a little better and not have to talk in an American accent Big Cry Blick with blick windows, big wheels, tow bar for nickin, side steps for the tart, DVD screens for on the go porn, 22" Stormers black and polished... as a matter of fact just about every box ticked.....if I`m going down I`m going down BIG time. When you change to UK English you only get a man's voice. For some reason, US English has the choice of man or woman.

tf9, you CAN store phone numbers in the voice recognition system using the keypad. From the touchscreen's Home Menu, touch "Settings" --> touch "Voice Settings" --> touch "Voice Add Name" --> enter telephone number w/ soft keypad and touch "Add" --> say matching name when prompted "Name, Please?" by the system. Stored! Very Happy
