But did yours have a plate "Built by Land Rover" inside the footwell. Mine does and it winds up Land Rover purists something rotten!

2008 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black

Loads. Reckon there in the blood now!

1st was Series 1 Ex Airforce. Apparently had a huge Magneto/Generator in back to start planes. Also it was 2wd from factory.

2nd Series 2 109 Diesel. Great for launch/retrieval of boat

3rd Range Rover Vogue LSE Loads of legroom. Loads of aggro!

4th Range Rover P38 4.6 HSE Another RR where owner was test mule!

5th Range Rover 4.4 Vogue (Still with me) Probably the best ive had

6th Supersport S/C On notice due to suspension/steering clonk

If S/C goes i think i will look to another manufacturer & type of car Audi RS6 Avant,Merc E55 Estate,BMW M5 Touring Am looking at newer Vogue to replace 5. I never learn!! Rolls Royce Ghost, RRS 2.7 TDV6, E220 Avantgarde Estate.

Australia 2010 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Fuji White

1979-1985 - numerous MOD variations on a theme, Airportable, FFR etc, usually Green and Black. Majority where Cabriolets with easily removed soft top Laughing

Driven by she who must be obeyed were:

1996-1998 - Range Rover Vogue 3.9. Metallic Port Red Gas guzzling heap who's engine went porous Big Cry , traded in at my local friendly Landrover dealer for:

1998-2002 - Discovery 300TDI 7 Seat GS in the obligatory Epsom Green, to slow so traded in for:

2002-2005 - Discovery II TD5 7 Seat (ACE Dual Sunroof and the toys) in Oslo Blue, sold when moved to Oz, so bought

2006-Date - Range Rover Sport TDv6, see signature for details Wink

Drove 2 scoobies from 98 to 2004 whilst in the UK, quicker to get to the train station Wink and this was before them becoming the CHAV's car of choice when the import restrictions were taken off in 2000 ish Big Cry Another Pommie Bar Steward down under

United Kingdom 2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Rimini Red

Series 2a 109' - my first car and everyone knew her as "Bertha" Cool
...a big gap when there wasn't a LR in my life Sad
Disco 200tdi - a three door with that weird compass logo, transfer on the side Smile
Disco 300tdi - a 5 door, black one, really thought I had "arrived" as she was soooo posh Cool
Disco TD5 - a fully loaded imported vehicle, the lowest depreciation ever over 4 years of hard use Razz
FFRR TD6 - a big mistake so only owned for 4 months and lost more money than I had in 4 years of owning the TD5 above Shocked
Disco 3 TDv6 - first build car and was great (much smoother and quieter than wife's current TDv6) Razz
RRS TDv6 - good car but needed the extra SPORT provided by the :
RRS TDv8 - a great car
Def 200tdi CSW - a perfect example of this fab motor that I simply couldn't resist

Intermingled with the above I have had more offroaders with LR badges on than I can remember, started off with a Series 3 but quickly traded up to V8 RR's, then moved on to Defenders. Each vehicle got more and more offroad extras fitted, such that my current Defender has pretty much the full set of toys on it .... RRS TDv8 HSE Rimini
Disco 4 TDv6 HSE Ipanema
Defender 90, 200tdi CSW
