Ok, ok....I was writing in a rush. I know what I meant ![]() I mean that the wheels are easy enough to get to all the areas, but I have a problem in getting rid of black spots that just don't budge. They also seem to have embedded themselves into the lacquer. Matt ------------------------------------------- RRS ownership for 1 yr, then D3 for 2 yrs. I worry about you lot - just get the local illegal immigrant at the car wash to clean your car. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

I know what you meant ![]() ![]() That was exactly what I meant. For some reason, the dirt seems to stick to the RRS wheels, even when using WonderWheels. Every other car I've had, the wheels have cleaned straight up with very little effort. ![]() Paul RRS TDV8 - Stornoway Grey, Irory Leather with Dark Zebrano, Privacy Glass, Tow Pack. 1967 Cobra 427 S/C 1951 Vincent Comet 2001 Harley Davidson Fat Boy |

I've found that if you apply Turtle wax wheel protector spray from day one the brake dust will easily wash off and not pit. They usually put that or something similar on at pdi. TDV6 - gone

It must be something in the brake pads. Matt

Despite my wheels having a coat of carnauba wax on them the brake dust particles seem to stick like nothing else. |

There is definitely something peculiar about the RRS wheels |

I'm having the same problem (I use Meguairs Hot Wheels cleaner)... anyone got any photos of the tiny brake dust pitting that still remains after using any of the above products... ?
