England 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black
Time to play with the look of my RRS

OK, time to see what i can do to my RRS TDV6 HSE to improve it's looks and performance.

I know that i can get side steps which look nice (don't do any rough off road so should be OK) and smoke coloured side indicators. What I would really like is the metal side vents (front qtr) rather than the rubber ones.. I guess they are for the SC version really but anyone know where I can get some at a reasonable price?

Also, I keep hearing about chipping. Is this possible on the V6, is there any point, risks etc?

Thanks

Mark 07 RRS TDV6 HSE Java Black

There are often sets of side vents from the SC available on eBay, but you should also consider having them colour coded too, which looks great esp on black, if you ask me.

In terms of chipping, this is probably the most asked question on the forum. Search for "chipping" and you'll get loads of threads. A couple of the forum sponsors provide discounted chipping service. It's actually most common on the diesels - the petrol engine performance upgrades are a whole different ballpark.

Vents are usually available on ebay Wink
Chipping is probably the most covered topic on here, it is certainly available on the TDV6 and most people agree it makes a big difference.
Do a search and be prepared for a lot of reading Thumbs Up

You could of course buy the vents, grill, badges etc, from your local LR Dealer.

Or am I the only fool here who bought from a main dealer ???
