United Kingdom 2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 SE Rimini Red
ionic water

Had to clean my own rimini red rrs today, found I had run out of auto glym shampoo.
Had some of the flash shampoo from the washing kit, but now no hose pipes so was in storage.
Used it direct by hand on the car, it felt nice and thick and loads of bubbles. A good wash, then a rinse with a few buckets of water, went to get my leather, found that the water had mostly dried up,and only has to use leather on the black mouldings and windows. And what a loverly shine to the car, best shine I have ever had .Mustbe the special shampoo ??

(I expect that VA will find a few alternatives to my words Laughing Wink )

I have a Java Black - shows every spec of muck/spots etc - BUT I have been using the Flash system for approx 12mths and would agree the RINSE is the key to the clean finish = EXCELLENT Thumbs Up

Of course, a good wax and polish layer on the paintowrk also helps the water bead off, also prevent dirt sticking so much, makes washing easier.

I gave mine a full going over last weekend with the power polisher:

1. Used a paint cleaner to bring back the bright in the silver
2. Used a clay bar to pull out the ingrained dirt - tailgate area made the clay bar go brown!
3. Thorough polish and wax followed.

Result is the paintwork feels like silk. You could put a cloth/towel on the bonnet and it slides right off, zero friction. L319 D4 HSE
