Changed my order from Ivory to Alpaca at the last minute yesterday after a visit to another delaer who had an Ivory car in the showroom - didn't realise the dash and carpets were green, not wishing to offend anyone with Ivory but green is definately not to my taste.

Can't understand why they don't give you the option of Ivory / Ebony as on the S/C - looks much better in my personal opinion.......... Currently: Carbon Black 535d

nope ST - I chose ebony/black leather - I like darker interiors and thought it looked better with the grey ... also have a little 'un - so feet and hand marks will end up going everywhere - Range Rover Sport TdV6HSE Bonatti Grey 20" FE Stormer wheels, Privacy Glass, Mats, Boot Mat, black badges, SC grille and vents

Fair points made Smudge. Mrs ST was not sure about the Alpaca, we are heading back to local delaer tonight to gain the second opinion - we may well end up with Ebony yet!!!! Currently: Carbon Black 535d

ST,
I'm coming from a light leather interior. My advice is that it looks brill for first year and there after its a pain to keep clean. Depends on how long you are keeping it for.
I've gone for Ebony this time, not making same mistake again. TDV6 - gone
TDV8 - gone

Thanks for the advice Josh.....the order is now however confirmed as Alpaca. It went in at 11am this morning. Understand what your saying in terms of keeping clean over time, I have always had black leather, this is our first attempt at a light colour.

We test drove a 17,000 mile Cairns car with Alpaca and it looked in tip top condition (hadn't been preped - dust everywhere etc) we did sit in a 12,000 Zambezi car that adversley looked trashed....and I mean, TRASHED, black scuff marks and stains all over it, It is amazing what some people will do with a 45K car - I guess it was a fleet vehicle.......

We will only have this until we can get our hands on the TDV8 so hopefully it will stand the test of time with some TLC - and it will get TLC!!!

I believe it comes from a psychiatric term -- "anal retentive" personality traits. Such personalities may carry neat and tidy to excess. Theoretically derives from early childhood experiences when the anal area is a focus of anxiety.

Not that there is anything wrong with that.

Ay carumba! I don't like the way this is going - especially with the phrases "come in" and "anal" in close proximity to each other... Wink
