RRS Big Bear (California) run on 6/17.

Headed by our own unstoppable Adam Spiker, a group of us rangerovers.net members met over the weekend at nearby Big Bear Lake (a small mountain village in Southern California) and we went wheeling. I could only make the Sunday run - husband duties called on Fri and Sat - but a few of the participants went out Fri, Sat and Sun. It was great fun with some great people, and very, very cool to see 7, yes, seven, RRS's getting dirty all at the same time Sunday. That's still a rarity, even in Sport-crazy Southern California. Actually, two owners drove all the way from Houston, TX, and Phoenix, AZ, to make the run! Oh, we were also joined by a bus, ehm, Disco/LR3 owner on the trail on Sunday, in case you are wondering.

Anyway, although the Sunday "moderate trail" turned out to be an easy dirt road free of any serious challenges for our capable vehicles, the scenery and views were quite spectacular and those, along with the good company, made the trip 100% worthy. Here are some photos posted by the various participants on rr.net, enjoy: http://rangerovers.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=17280

Can we do it as a group trip? That is some dedication to drive from Houston and Phoenix to SoCal for a weekend of offroading. That must be nearly 24 hours driving time in each direction! Cracking pics - interesting to see some Giverny Green's there! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

As a former LR3 guy... I recognise that White one that seemed to be following you, was that Nathan Woods by any chance ?

Cheers,

Adrian
