New starter

I am a new member to this site, hello everyone.
Well, I've taken the plunge, the order for my new RRS TDV6 was placed on Friday.
However, as a result of taking the RRS TDV6 for an extended test drive, that included a full lap around the M25 and back to Pulborough, in and out of traffic and where I could, doing 70mph. I recorded 34.6 average fuel consumption, how does that rate?
Look forward to some thoughts.

Geoff

That MPG is fantastic! Realistically expect around 26-28mpg combined. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten
2009 Alaska TDV8 - Gone and much missed.

No Kaine i do honestly drive like a nun on my way to w@rk in the mornings, cruise on at 50mph with the ACC on but i do drive like a looney on the way home, and every where else i tend to drive quite carefull, but i am only getting 19/20 to the gallon, Confused some of my Previous cars

I'd be a little unhappy with that - I've averaged 26.6 over 9000miles and can pull over 30mpg on the drive from Newport to Bridgnorth quite easily - fingers crossed yours improves Thumbs Up

i would like to hope it improves but driving around lanes all the time i doubt it, on the run down to Plymouth recently i got 29 so it just goes to prove that it is down to what type of driving you do Rolling Eyes

Are you in the office tomorrow Kaine some of my Previous cars

Geoffs - by the way, as others said anything between 27-30mpg is about right - unless your driving round lanes and through hills and it will dip a little
