Had similar problem, solved it!

Hello, I had similar problem with my dvd player, now the problem is siolved, I changed the chip inside the alpine dvd changer and made it region free!
Land Rover should be responsible for that problem, if you dont make them fix it its your fault! I had one year warranty and it passed, thats why I had to fix on my own. If you still have warranty GO TO THE DEALER AND TELL THEM TO FIX IT OR REPLACE IT!
There are new dvd players with software updates form alpine!!!
Thanks!

Well, I have gone to the Dealer but they said they don't know how to do it. It is a seriously problem for the dealer in China to communicate with the Yawn Land Rover head quarter. Yawn

Where do you bought the chip, does it from genuine Alpine? How much does it cost?

Lets find out first

My friend:
Hello, I will contact the company and ask about the compatibility issue.
The chips cost us dealers US$350, public price is $700, I always give my friends the dealers price, frinds dont screw friends!
So i dont want to get you something you should get from Land ROver for FREE!!!
I meaN IF LAND ROVER CANT FIX IT, GIVE ME A NEW ONE!
And I mean email Landrover UK and they have always answered me for customer complaints!
I will let you know what they tell me ok>
See you amigo!
