The local dealer says that all the RRS he sell hire, do the same. Can be something to update at the software when it is in Spanish?
I will try to reset, or turn to English. Confused Yuri

It never worked on mine. I assumed it was one of those specific region only affairs ie. the Yanks get it and we don't.

Does anyone have a working compass Question TDV6 - gone

I seem to remember you have to do something strange with button presses to get it to work Confused Like this site? Buy some RRSPORT goodies to show your support!

For the compass to work, your satnav should be in offroad mode: Press the LH hard key under the monitor and touch "Off Road Navigation" before selecting the compass soft key in the 4x4 Info screen. Whether North is always up and the icon of your car spins accordingly - or viceversa - depends on your heading preference in the satnav setup. Kind of silly really, why can't I view a nice, big compass in 4x4 mode w/o switching to offroad navigation first? But that's the way it is, at least here in North America.

A bit off topic, but one thing I wish Land Rover had included along with the compass is an inclinometer. That would REALLY help - more than the compass IMHO - in certain, ehm, positions. I tend to get queasy and shriek like a girl in off camber situations when the car is tilted big time... Embarassed My guts still can't easily "tell" the difference between a side-to-side 25 degrees (keep going, girlie-man!) and a 35 degrees tilt (watch it, dude!) and I would feel so much better if an instrument told me that.
