2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey
What a surprise!

Auto Express this week have a mega test with the top 100 most economical cars (10 cars in 10 classes)........................ and the bottom 10 for the least economical. Well surprise, surprise they vote a 4x4 as the most gas guzzling and one of the highest emitters of CO2 - the Range Rover Sport.
Calm down because that is exactly what the headline says - the countries less economical and most CO2 belching car......................... it's only when you read the item that you see what we all know - it is the S/C they are talking about but the head/ strap line is that the RRS is bottom of the pile, not RRS S/C. Makes me spit it really does! Twisted Evil Twisted Evil Twisted Evil and spit even more when I see in the 4x4 section there is no RRS/D3 at all when I am getting figures that would put it in the middle of top 10!
The item also illustrates that buying small/ medium sized cars only saves you on CO2 output - many "family" cars in the test have far worse consumption than most of the 4x4's in the tests - but there isn't a single comment anywhere about that. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

Wouldn't waste my time, it would get nowhere with that bunch of anti 4x4ers in their editiorial section. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I read this article too today at the shop and quite frankly its true, they use the S/C as a base test but neglect to mention it in the headline.
I however for one beleive that if you can afford the S/C why not get it. As far as CO2 emissions I couldnt care less, I think its all a load of Censored!! Twisted Evil Michael Potter
