I thought I was going to keep my S4 Cabriolet for some time , but its not quite a year old yet (31st july) & hey, fancied a change ... been in Audi cabs for 3 yrs in total now.I have had LR's before...variety is the spice of life, except when it comes to my wife of course Shocked

Also depends what LR bring out next ?

New ML, new Audi Q7(?), next X5, Rumoured Bentley SUV, next Lexus effort.....It'll be more a question of what there is to tempt me out of the RRS than any specific time. I truly expect the RRS will struggle against most of the above with tarmac bound drivers like me. Range Rover Sport TdV6HSE in Bonatti Grey + 20" Stormer wheels (ex X5 and ML driver)

I agree Toodeep, but then I must say I will def. make any decsision based on a high percentage of looks alone. Having run Audi's for some time I think the Q7 is too much of a "giant car" on steroids. The RRS and RR simply look the part, look good & most importantly dont look like everything else on the roads these days. Oh yes...... & they also perform offroad better than any of the opposition. Not as though most RRS's or even RR's will spend much of their time venturing off road.

Well at least I am not in the minority, with changing my cars like they are a pair os socks.
Always fancied a RR, but were too big for me, byt when I saw the RRS, bells rang , and my 11 month old ML was exchanged. N ot havingto wait more than 3 days also helped.
Shortest time of keeping a car for me was with a Rolls Royce, Silver Spirit, kept it for only 3 months !!
Been with Mercedes since 1987, all the SLs etc , and 2 MLs, as you say, see what the competion come up with.
But I am pleased with the RRS.

Same as, Cars come and go quicker than a nuns knickers go up and down Laughing .
Succession of land rovers, troopers, bmw. etc.
Followed the RRS from concept to ownership always felt the full size Range Rover to big. At the moment very happy and see no change in car for a few years.
Maybe the next purchase will be a new motorbike but who knows. Its out there somewhere. Second V10 Treg on the drive at the moment.
