2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

Think of this.................................. when the original H1 HumVees were sent to the Gulf they failed as soon as they found soft ground. They couldn't hack the offroading conditions and the US Special forces abandoned them for Land Rover Defenders that they borrowed from the UK Forces for carrying out special duties. The H1 Humvee was designed to storm across the Steppes and plains of Europe in the cold war era and just sank into the sand in the Middle East. We had one arrive for an offroading weekend about 5 years ago and it had to be left in a carpark because it was too wide to get into the forest sections and also it developed a puncture that required a new tyre.......................................... it was tranded like a beached whale because the tyres are not available in the UK - they are very special run flats.

Has any body noticed how similar to the H3 the new Jeep Wrangler 5 door looks? 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

According to the LR website F2 is 2005mm wide with folded mirrors and RRS is 1983mm. I think that I wouldn't be trying to take an RRS to places that have that small a gap that would make the difference important! 22mm is a bit tight a gap for even me to be risking a scratch or two extra on my car. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I find a 7'-0" width restriction a challenge to get through in my Sport without leaving half the 20" alloys behind. 6'-6" gaps scare me sh*tless and I've never attempted one in the RRS.., BUT IN A HUMMER!!! Shocked MY12 SDV6 HSE Sumatra/Ebony/Piano/Sidesteps/Privacy/Overfinch Olympus/JLR DRLs
