Need some help lads
My phone broke yesterday and my CO put his PA on the case.
I am not very good with the latest specs but they have sent me a Nokia N95, some sat nav come camera etc.
At the moment I have a Nokia hands free kit in my company car, does anyone know if I can just change the cradle and hook this one in.?

No, but it apparently works OK over Bluetooth. If I'm not mistaken LR are no longer developing cradles.... it'll be Bluetooth all the way from now on (with the ability to do phonebook synch etc, which ic currently missing unless you have a cradle).

is you're company car a Bmw by the way? no N95 usage in BMW Bluetooth system yet! the guy said.. change you're phone.. i said, r u bloody crazy! i'd rather change my car..

I text my salesman on friday this message:

"Do Bmw train all service guys to be complete cocks, or do you employ them specifically with that skill?"

He didn't reply to this.. which im not really bothered by.. because its enuff said really.
As you can tell, i was a little miffed to be told their was no software update for my car, when a customer of mine who picked a 335d coupe up the day before told me he had got a new software download for his car!

Jay also, you know the angel eye light running light thingies, you can buy them in xenon blue colour.. will send you the link for the outlet, it doesn't mess with the bmw's system onboard diagnostics jobby and also takes only ten mins to fit.. gonna get some myself!

I just wanted to charge as I drive and watch the SAT NAV on the phone- So why no bloody Phone Cradle.

I'm surprised Nissan are still producing different cradles to keep up with new phones... most mfrs are dumping cradles in favour of pure Bluetooth solutions.

Sorry S, I am missleading you, its not part of the car its the Nokia hands free kit. I put it in 4 years ago when I got the car, but now 160,000 miles later change the phone to one that is sat nav and no cradle available to put the phone where you can see it, or even charge it,  You don't stop playing because you get old, You get old because you stop playing.

I was also to understand from a topic on here somewhere ?? that LR are about to or have done ..... released a software update for the bluetooth interface - to upgrade to allow phonebook sync etc ..... anyone know anymore on this yet ??
