Hi gables! You only get phone book synch when you use the optional cradle.

Maybe there will be in a future release, but it's a big maybe so don't hold your breath Best bet would be to ask if there are any plans to release a cradle for your phone (again, don't hold your breath - there are folks who have been promised a cradle for the 6230i for the past 6 months and still there isn't one). Best bet is to get another phone and keep that one in the car - if you are on Vodafone, they do a neat dual-SIM tarriff which means both phones will have the same number. This issue has been discussed here before - use search for the opinions of others

I will ask LR cust serv if this is possible ie. will they be able to come up with a software download that will be done at the dealership. I cant see any reason why this could not be accomplished. ( fingers crossed )

Just spoke to LR again - NO IDEA - all details re new cradles & any software updates etc will hopefully be avilable in the next 2 weeks - but may drag on - they are aware of all the issues & are actively trying to sort all them - with a view to a final launch of many upgrades/solutions.

The current Nokia/LR PTI system will not gain any functional improvements over Bluetooth. This is how it was designed. It's been like this since it's introduction on '05 Range Rover and Disco 3.

Yes, you do this from your phone. From my Motorola, I select "use handset" and I can take the phone out of the car while continuing the conversation. |

I don't think there is a feature like this on Sony Ericsson phones. I wish there was! |

rweintra, with the k750 all you have to do is press options then transfer to phone. I am pretty sure you have a t610 and I havn't used that in a while so I am not positive but it should be the same proccess |

it depends on the phone, with my phone it transfers the sound automaticly to the car so i can keep the conversation going but that might not work with the motorolas |
