Morning all,

Still a bit new to the "Land Rover experience"! Well after 4 days and 1000 miles my brand new RRS needs a new ECU! and there is a factory shortage of ECU's apparently!

Anyone had any problems like this??

Problems where the ECU needs replacing? Or problems where you buy a new LR and take it back to the dealer after 4 days?

Yeah both! From what i'm reading is this is only the begining. At this rate i'll be paying for the worlds most expensive Freelander!

The garage have just been on and it's a months lead time on a new ecu from the factory! Don't suppose anyone has an ideas?

If I were you I would threaten to return the car unless it is fixed quicker - you've only had it 4 days. If you keep it tell them the very least you require is a like for like car or you will start charging them each day the car is off the road. You have to put pressure on LR and they will pay up, they did with me. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Yip exact same issue here. It's to do the the DR ECU. They are escalating it with the LR CHAPS team. They are trying to get me a replacement RRS! anything is better then the Freelander i'm in!
