TDV6 has Brembos?

Was chatting to local dealer today - I was sorta justifying the V8 over the V6, but he seemed to reckon the V6 comes with the Dynamic pack (Brembos etc) and I didn't have the heart to disagree. Am I right?

Also saw the factory DVD option. Looks good.

The rear doors had controls on them for Audio - is this the premium pack, or something that comes with the factory DVD?

Oh, and is the Premium ICE worth it?

TDv6 HSE has DP and Brembos as standard in the UK 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

On 2nd glance, it doesn't say it doesn't have it... but it doesn't say it does either. Bonkers.

I had the factory fitted dvds in the rear of the head rests and with the controls in the doors, i think they are only fitted with the dvds

Just checked the website and it says HSE has DP but not Brembos, yet the 2007 brochure ( Sept 2006 actually!) says it has Brembos! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Yep. In the "Options" table, there's a "-" in the Dynamic Pack next to both TDV8 and TDV6 - suggesting (perhaps) that it isn't available as an option, yet it doesn't say "S" for standard either.

And in the list of Engineering, it specifically says Brembos only on the TDV8:

Engineering
· Permanent four wheel drive
· Hill Descent Control (HDC)
· Four wheel Electronic Traction Control (ETC), Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), 4 Channel all terrain ABS
· Power assisted speed-proportional variable ratio steering
· Monotube dampers
· Electronic Air suspension with Terrain Response™
· Adaptive cruise control with forward alert (TDV8 only)
· Dynamic Response
· Brembo Front brakes (TDV8 only)

It might be an idea to have a look at one of the internet provider websites that either lease or supply RRS's. Their specification and option pages are usually bang up to date - certainly more reliable than LR's website or brochures. Gone - 2008 TDV8, Stornoway Grey, ebony, zabrano trim, TV, Tasmods, mudflaps.

Already tried drivethedeal.com and they don't list the DP or Brembos as an option for the TDV6.

go see your dealer - they will confirm

my 07MY HSE has DP and Brembos - they are standard

You beat me to it Kaine, have edited this post because I had said we need somebody who has an 07/08MY HSE....

the Dynamic pack also includes adaptive xenons as well according to the info I have.......... 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

sorry - just to clarify, I meant to say I have Dynamic Response (not Dynamic Pack)

for 07MY, the Dynamic Pack was effectively deleted on the HSE, with the Dynamic Response and Brembos fitted as standard - the 20" alloys made as options

Adaptive Xenons are not included in the TDV6 HSE standard spec
