Phone problem

Can anyone help? Use my phone a lot and problem I have is that when I am on a call and another call is incoming and I take the second call without cancelling my initial call the system seems to 'hang' with the audio muted. It will only reset when I stop engine for 3 minutes or so. The telephone number stays on display and will not disappear. Why so?

I sometimes have the exact same problem. I can't get the number to go off the screen and the phone call stays active. The "hang-up" buttons won't work. It takes about 3 minutes.

Hi Gables,

you may want to check this list out of approved phones by LR

The sport is very sensative/software-specific when it comes to phones

Yup. Same software. And it happens with Bluetooth and with the cradle. Not all the time. Maybe every ten calls, it happens once.

Or maybe worth just upgrading the s/w? You never know what little quirks are ironed out in later releases.

I put the older software in as the newer software was worse. In reality, they are basically the same. I think what we are proving here is that it is the RRS software.

I use my phone on bluetooth without a cradle. Works pretty well most of the time but the bluetooth occassionally loses contact with the phone (or never finds it in the first place). Is there a quick way to get the vehicle to look for the phone (or visa versa) without going through the phone's menu (nokia 6310i) ?

Also has anyone noticed that if the phone isn't "connected" but you flick the green phone button on the steering wheel, that switches the radio on ?

This is also what happens if you hit the phone button on the radio fascia too. It's a bit annoying that they've cut that corner in the electrics - shame the PTI circuit can't activate the speakers independently of the radio.
