Selling advice please

Hello everyone,

Well I have enjoyed the RRS a lot but I am going to sell up. My problem is the selling price. The range for used sports is crazy!!

So what should I expect for it??

Jan 2007 HSE V6 with TV, Privacy Glass, 20" alloys (Keeping my overfinch 22's as I am sure I will return to a V8!) Ivory leather, side steps. 3000 miles.

Even took a proper picture for you!!

Thanks

Andy

I'd reckon £44,000 on a private sale if she cost around £50k new. She's new and fully loaded. Just a gut feel. I'm not in the business (so am not an expert) but thought I'd comment to get the debate on the go.

44k is what I thought.

By the way, I had planned to change to a maserati grand sport, does anyone have any comments good or bad on these??? Looking at a red one with black leather.

The red ones are good but stay clear of blue ones!

Seriously I think they are great cars but would expect a rather large hit on one! 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten
2009 Alaska TDV8 - Gone and much missed.

The one I have looked at is a year old ex demo car from the local dealer. I will have to wait and see the response to the sport in autotrader. If it drags on into the summer i will have to re think as i dont want to change too close to the winter. 2011 Defender X-tech

Winter is actually a good time to be selling a 4x4, especially if it looks like it will be a long cold snowy one! Mid summer isn't a good time to be selling a 4x4! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

mcma1 i would say that 44k isnt out of the way for your motor but with TDV8's under 50k now you may have to drop it a bit for a sale, just IMHO Thumbs Up some of my Previous cars

I am in northern Irlenad and the the market is not so flooded with them here so fingers crossed, I will keep the overfinchs on when selling just to draw them in! Thanks for the advice. 2011 Defender X-tech
