Really ? I didn't think it did. Sure it has vents into the back that blow out cool air from the front aircon. But it doesn't have seperate controls or a second compressor like it does on the D3. RRS TDv8 HSE Rimini Disco 4 TDv6 HSE Ipanema Defender 90, 200tdi CSW |

Thanks! Seems a bit silly that it doesn't have it considering the RR Sport should be a better car! Thanks for every1's welcomes! |

There are a few things a D3 has extra over the RRS. My HSE didn't have a fridge but my D3 SE has one. I would suggest the fact the the D3 is 7 seats is the reason why it has rear AC and the RRS does not. (And more glass!!!) 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

As VA indicated, based on the interior volume and the fact no one will be seated in the boot space of the RRS, rear AC was not deemed a requirement - 4 zone independant AC is actually a bit of a gimmick unless a high end 'expensive' system is used - 2 zone is more efficient

Even a FFRR doesn't have separate rear AC unless you tick the box for it. It does have individual rear controls and a variable speed rear electric fan in the back of the centre cubby box for rear passenger comfort but that is from the same compressor as the poor folks in the front have to make do with. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

This is another example of how the D3 is actually a lot more car for your money than the RRS. Indeed my favourite description of the RRS is that it is a "D3 with all the ideas taken out of it".
