TDV8 compared to the TDV6

There's only one word to describe it AWSEOME

The difference is amazing, effortless acceleration no flat spot, superb handling and brakes, but most of all is the sound that the V8 makes, it makes you feel like you are driving a sports car Mr. Green

Only done a couple of hundred miles so the engine hasn't freed up much yet. its only in the teens on fuel consumption but hopefully that will improve with time Rolling Eyes

will be getting it chipped after a thousand miles or so, that should be interesting, and may have to get a JE exhaust system to enhance the sound of the beast Twisted Evil

Josh and rrsjo you will love it Thumbs Up some of my Previous cars

Chuffed for you Envoy........hurry up LR Bow down

Yes you must do the exhaust. I think the car looks naked without the JE pipes. Can't say I thought much of the HST pipes I saw the other day.
If my TDV6 sounded good I bet it will sound fantastic when you've done it. Thumbs Up TDV6 - gone

Just catching up on the last two days posts on this great site.

Been away for the weekend at so called friends. Late last night (2pm and over the limit to get in the car and drive home) I was on the end of an unprevoked torrent of drunken verbal abuse from our so called male friend, who also shouted at his wife to f Censored g shut up for attempting to keep him quiet. Received no appology this morning, so we left straight away resolved never to visit them again nor to have them stay with us. Most upsetting. You just never know what is going on behind the front people normally show to the outside world. Anyway back on topic.

Envoy:
I like the idea of getting JE's exhausts fitted and the chipping. I not only can't wait for the next few weeks to pass by before I get mine, I also can't wait for you to post your impressions of chipping and the noise of a TDV8 fitted with Larini exhausts. Gone - 2008 TDV8, Stornoway Grey, ebony, zabrano trim, TV, Tasmods, mudflaps.

As a matter of fact I was up in Norfolk at Kings Lynn. Followed a Rimini RRS along the A47 at Guyhurn this morning, which was de-badged and colour coded. I'm sure Aljo would not behave like this tw Censored t though - very difficlut situation when you can't really smack them one in their own home though and you've got to at least associate with them at functions in the future.

Anyway after two late nights of getting to bed after 2 am I'm off now - night night

PS Keep those update posts coming - good or bad Gone - 2008 TDV8, Stornoway Grey, ebony, zabrano trim, TV, Tasmods, mudflaps.
