They set it up now Tim on a European Format agreement. Problem is all the OE manufacturers have a different type of agreement so some will allow another manufacturer on the same site, some will not or you loose your franchise completely.

We'll I guess all those guys are owned by Ford, so they will allow it. Here in Canada, there are no stand alone Land Rover dealers. Most are Land Rover/Jaguar. There are also some (Grand Touring in Toronto coems to mind) that are Land Rover/Jaguar/Aston Martin/Bentley/Rolls Royce. I dont know if it is the same in Europe, but here in Canada, you will have one guy who ownes MANY dealerships...For example, there is a BMW dealership beside the Land Rover/Jag dealership where I purchased my vehicle and they are both owned by the same guy. |

LR is the only Ford owned outlet of all the franchises that the dealer has - FIAT is Fiat, SEAT is owned by VW/Audi, Daihatsu is independant and Tata is an Indian company whose products you don't ever want to drive........ they are worse even than the old Moskovitch and Lada's we used to get here. The only good thing about a Tata is that it is BOMBproof, they are 4x4's in the old style with modernish bodies on them and Japanese cast-off mechanicals from Mitsubishi I think. But they are extremely crude on the road and not much better off it. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
