JE Exhaust for TDV6..More power?

Evening all!

I've heard the JE exhaust upgrade and have to say I'm very keen.

Can i expect more horsepower or just more noise?

Are there any forum contributors who have a JE exhaust and would like to convert it into cash and a swap for a standard one?

I would only expect anyone to entertain this if the car is being traded in imminently!

Josh's car was the "demo" one I saw.

I liked the sound and the look , I just wondered If you had any more horses?

BTW , Hi Josh...won't be long now!

If it doesnt give me more horsepower do I need to tell the insurance?

Shouldn't think they would increase your premium as its not a performance enhancer. But no harm in giving them a call for peace of mind.

I will prob add some to my new one in the near future as they do look good. TDV6 - gone

I can confirm that there is no noticable increase in power, but they look the mutt's nuts Whenever I see a standard TDV6, I can't help thinking how unfinished the back end looks without the chrome tailpipes.

I would definitely have them again if/when I replace my RRS with another one.
