Forgot to add that I found a "free" (I'm sure I have paid for it somewhere in the bill!) 1ltr bottle of Magnatec, 6 pr dispoable gloves and 6 sachets containing "Dip stick wipes" ................................ really usefull seeing as the dealer knows my car hasn't used a drop of oil since the last service in May 2006! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Ouch, if the brakes were sticking on shouldn't that have been under warranty Tim? |

From what I was told this morning when I queried it, they were binding slightly - I have also had occassional embarrassing moments at traffic lights when the EPB would not release, even with quite a heavy dose of revs and in D. The bits replaced were considered "fair wear and tear" items - the only item on the bill that relates to brakes is a "wire assembly" part SOE000025 at £7.28 and MPN100 Brake Cleaner at £4.75 so I assume the worn bits were replaced under warranty.
