When you say single CD unit do you mean the single slot 6 CD feeder?

No I mean the single CD player, holds only one disc. Basically, when ordering the Europe Spec SE has this as standard and as I normally listen to the radio in the car I decided not to fork out for the Premium Stereo unit(H/K). However, bad advice from my dealer led me to believe that the AUX input was on all units ! On taking delivery I notice that this is not the case as I have no AUX input on the centre console rear. So basically I want to investigate how I can best integrate an ipod...........so whats the head unit manufacturer, does the aux button have something behind it etc etc......any information is welcomed.

It will still be Alpine as they were involved in building the IHU, just a more basic version of the 6 disc player L319 D4 HSE

Wire to Pin 7 (left), Pin 8 (right) and Pin 12 (ground) of a connector labeled as C2115 behind the radio head unit. That's your AUX. Yes, you need to take stuff apart. |

Is it a certainty that Alpine is the sole manufacturer of the system installed in the RRS S/C as well? If so, how would you rate it, combined with the Harman/Kardon speakers? RRS S/C,Bonatti Grey,Ebony Interior,Lined Oak Finish, Rear Lock Dif, DVD,Sunroof,ACC |

As far as I'm aware it's Alpine - and with the HK speakers sounds good (not fantastic though, if you are a hifi wiz). On the SC model you also get LOGIC7 thrown in which a lot of folks here have said is a disappointing implementation in the RRS. How well into your music reproduction are you?
