High mileage RRS diesel

Guys,

I drive a FFRR but thinking of getting an RRS TDv6 as second car.
I can get one for cheap, but it has 180.000km, that's about 110k miles.

Does any one have experience with this kind of mileages?

Thanks,
Tim

110k miles? This is an RRS?

The oldest it can be is nearly two years old.... that's very high mileage. Even if it's been religiously serviced and you can see this from the service history, I'd be very wary of taking it on.

How much are they asking for it?

A mileage like that is pretty normal over here, specially for a diesel.

They're asking 26000 euro.

Like Tim says High milage is quite normal in the Netherlands, Eventhough its a small country, we dutch people do drive an awfull lot Smile

eventhough we have to do it a a very much reduced speed( our national speed limit is 120kmh, but most of the roads the speed limit is set at 100kmh Twisted Evil Twisted Evil ) and you still wonder why i left the netherlands Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter

A high mileage car that has been well looked after is sometimes better than a low mileage car that has only been to the shops and back, IMHO some of my Previous cars

True... but 110k miles is normal mileage for a dutch car less than two years old???? How can that be?

One thing going for it................................ it's never had enough time off the motorway to go offroading!

BTW 110,000 miles in 2 years works out at 150 miles a day - possibly the owner lived in Holland and commuted to Brussels every day and had a few holidays driving to the south of France/Italy/Spain, so it's not THAT difficult to rack up lots and lots of miles. My RRS has done 18500 in 2 years, but then think about my driving pattern and soon my car becomes a high miler as I've only been in the UK for 12 months out of the 24 months I've owned the car, it has sat on the drive for the other 12 months and hardly moved. I don't do any commuting. Instead I go to RRSport.co.uk meets at the other end of the UK and drive to Southampton from Stirling for a long weekend 3-4 times a year 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

It doesn't sound like the engine has ever been cold. The police cars don't do that many and my company cars spend lots of time on the road and it takes me 3 years to do that. He must have slept and eaten in it. You don't stop playing because you get old, You get old because you stop playing.
