I've had a winch mount fitted (waiting for the winch) and her are a few photos. The number plate will be moved once the winch is fitted. One problem is that you lose 2 of the parking sensors so I need to get the ECU reprogrammed to disable the front parking senors so that the rear ones work. Not sure if the ECU can be programmed to accept only 2 of the 4 front sensors to work - any ideas?

Given it's the central two sensors, that shouldn't pose much of a problem for coverage either!

Relocating is an option too BTW, but you'd need to be sure that they're far enough away from the winch mount to ensure they don't detect it! So if you got it wrong, you'd be left with holes in the bumper! |

So do you know the operating range of a single PDC sensor?

The operating range is supposed to be 1m in any direction, if it is distance you are meaning shmoogle! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

This is what I'm meaning! So you'd never be able to get over 1m away from the winch mounting then whilst staying on the bumper...

I wonder how the G4's get round it, I wonder if it is possible to "extend" the sensor wires and remount them on the winch tray.
