RRS 2.7D delivery time?

Does anyone out there know the definitive delivery time on a RRS 2.7D?
I have just been told by my stealer that he is pleased to tell me mine should be ready for delivery with the new registration in September!
He went on to say the price may have gone up by then and of course my X5 will be worth about £3k less in part x. As you can imagine I am really ecstatic about this.
He has also told me that he can obtain a 2007 model within a few weeks, fit a removable tow hook and replace the wheels, (two of my options) surely the tow hook socket has to be fitted during manufacture, on the X5 it's part of the chassis.
Any advice appreciated. Big Cry

At this rate I might as well wait and have a 3.6 Awaiting 2008 model TDV6 or should I buy TDV8?

All vehicles are manufactured with the tow bar chassis member in place. The only optional extra is the actual plug in tow bar itself which fits in to the chassis member. You can pick these up on ebay for about £120. The wiring for the towing electrics can be bought from a LR dealer for about £75 and fitted at home by any half competent person in about 45 minutes.

I think some dealers may have TDv6's in stock and I guess you should be able to find a TDv8 within 2 months. RRS TDv8 HSE Rimini

Kam can normally find people the vehicle of their dreams in a reasonable time frame. Try contacting him via pm, if it is out there he will find it for you.

Alternatively, pop over onto the Disco3 site and contact Lakeland Land Rover. He works for a dealership up north somewhere. So he may be able to source your vehicle too. Arctic Frost TDV6 SE.
