TC,

I will confirm how JE install the upgrade, but I don't understand what point you are making when you claim that JE dealers are sending you ECUs.
JE have only just released their TDV6 upgrade, so you claim has ne relevence in this instance.

"limited in their knowledge of diesels" you have got to be joking Confused

Paul
so any news on this subject i have looked at je website it shows an ad for upgrades picturing an open ecu Question

I haven't been able to confirm yet because they were all tied up at the Motorsport show at the NEC last week.
The images on the wensite are generic and don't relate to any particular product.
I'll chase it up again tomorrow.

Paul

JE install their upgrades via the port on the ECU and not the ODBII port, not that it actually makes any difference at the end of the day as there are no physical changes required.
I'm waiting for the torque and bhp figures to be sent to me.

TC,
Your website quotes 253bhp (+ 65bhp) for the TDV6 upgrade, is this a different upgrade to the 240bhp and 250bhp upgrades previously discussed?
I'd also be interested to hear you views on the relative merits or otherwise of the RRS 2.7 TDV6 and the VW/Audi 3.0 V6 Tdi as fitted to the Touareg.

Turbochip has formed a partnership with Autologic and it isnt simply a license agreement as you put it....both companies have respected each other's expertise and are now working together to provide the best tuning product for LR diesels in the world.

Again, JE are 1st class when it comes to petrol engined LR's but they have limited knowledge when it comes to the TDV6 and if Jonathan says different he can call me...he has my number Wink Chips with everything
