Landrover always saw the RRS as a way to attract "new types" of buyers to the marque who would later trade up within the marque. The RRS was seen as a way to attract buyers aged under 45 who had a good income and wanted a "sportier" vehicle and would be attracted by the Range Rover brand. Typical of the buyers they were after were people with an X5 or M3. As these buyers aged then they would hopefully trade up into the FFRR. It just seems that Doc and RRUK have aged quicker than the rest of us Razz

Sounds to me like LR got it spot on Thumbs Up

Totally agree Smarticus Thumbs Up

I would have one tomorrow if they would only make the body a bit more slim line, and not so brick shape Thumbs Up some of my Previous cars

Now that sounds like a good idea Thumbs Up

If they would only change the design slightly of the body work of the FFRR to make it more appealing to the eye it would do it for me.

maybe it will come with age, not being bothered about its looks Whistle some of my Previous cars

So what you are looking for then is the SSRR.............................. Semi-Skimmed Range Rover, healthier for your wallet than a FF 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

To me the only reason i didn't buy the FFRR was the ride is too damn soft.. Cornering had no feel & it seems to lean way too much.. I did test a Vogue for the day & to be honest it made me feel quite sea sick.. I agree the FFRR is of much better build quality than the RRS.. Now if you could only put the Sports handling in the Full Fat i might just have to have one Thumbs Up Or when i get much older Shocked & don't care much about how the car feels till then its the Sport for me Thumbs Up

There is something else though that is better with the FFRR's suspension - it has an amazing ability to totally smother potholes and the like that blight British roads these days - you hear the tyres have bumped but you rarely feel the bump, and it has to be a truely monumental pot hole or speed hump that you do feel it. It can only be the suspension tuning that does it because I'm running the same size wheel/tyre combo on my Sport and I had on the TD6 FF and the Sport just cannot hide potholes and speed bumps the same way 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
