Docs new Vogue

I am also after a new FFRR v8 vogue, almost ready to sign order, but have been quoted September delivery ??seems a long time. How long did you wait for yours?
My wanted spec is Black, Blaclk/jet black + polished black wood.
And the most important thing is, are you pleased with it over the RRS.?

Hi I went through a vehicle broker - he got me a UK car from Guy Salmon within three weeks, got me a £3000 discount on list and gave me a very good, no AMAZING PX price.

My car is Black / black /black / black and looks stunning!

The quality and luxury feel of the FFRR is far superior to the RRS - BUT if you like the "sport" part of the RRS you may not be happy with the pure luxury of the FFRR - if you know what I mean.

I will be sticking with FFRR from now on if that helps and I think it is well worth the extra £5800 over a TDV8 HSE in kit alone!

PM me for more details!

IMHO of course Thumbs Up

I'm totally with you on that one Envoy. I'm sure the FFRR's are lovely cars to cruise in, but I love the look AND the harder, sporty drive of the RRS. Thumbs Up MY12 SDV6 HSE Sumatra/Ebony/Piano/Sidesteps/Privacy/Overfinch Olympus/JLR DRLs

Landrover always saw the RRS as a way to attract "new types" of buyers to the marque who would later trade up within the marque. The RRS was seen as a way to attract buyers aged under 45 who had a good income and wanted a "sportier" vehicle and would be attracted by the Range Rover brand. Typical of the buyers they were after were people with an X5 or M3. As these buyers aged then they would hopefully trade up into the FFRR. It just seems that Doc and RRUK have aged quicker than the rest of us Razz

Sounds to me like LR got it spot on Thumbs Up RRS TDv8 HSE Rimini

Good point Smarticus - the RRS is the first RR I'Ve owned and now I'm converted to the brand. Still under 45 though! 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten
2009 Alaska TDV8 - Gone and much missed.

I had a FFRR 3 years ago (I was 33 then - slippers n all) but the build quality was miles away from this one!

I loved my RRS and if it were not for the problems I'd still have it now!

Anyhow the whole LR brand seems really great these days - the missus wants a new freelander next too Thumbs Up
