United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Sumatra Black

I've just had a reply from my Dealer about satnav-on-the-move, who previously told me at service that it couldn't be done. Here's their latest response when I asked if it can now be done:

"A bulletin was recently released regarding the Sat Nav on the move at the end of March 2007. The bulletin states sat nav on the move can be set up by dealers at the request of customers only and is a chargeable option. Depending on the specification of the vehicle in question, charges will vary. The repair time for your vehicle will be 2.2h to complete the required software re-configuration. This equates to £264.00 + vat.

Land Rover state in this bulletin the warranty claims cannot be submitted and therefore the charge for this work must be passed on to the customer."

Germany 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black

yesterday the navigation was re-programed at my car dealer. It took 1h and several phone calls with Land Rover (as it was the first car where they did it) but now all works as it should be. And my wife can now enter the adress while driving...of course I won“t do that...I will always watch the traffic Wink

maybe one important note....the officially suggested way of Land Rover is obviously not always working. The guys at the garage were pretty ambitious to manage it, but just after some researches by themselves it worked in the end. And the most recent nav. DVD is is needed, too.
