2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

Have you noticed how many young folks drive FFRR's - I wouldn't rate it as an old man's car quite yet, anyway it isn't available in Beige with Beige carpets yet, and it doesn't look right in Gold. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

Just returned it, and can honestly say it performed excellently for me over the weekend.

We had a convoy of them for the wedding, and the actual wedding car was a stretch FFRR!! pictures to come!! very nice car, and guess what.. the thing was powered by a normal TD6 3.0 engine! i was surprised, specially as he was doing close to a tonne on the motorway! better then a normal american car limo!

I was impressed, and liked the drive/feel of the FFRR, the cornering was the only thing that let it down, but you do just adjust your driving a tad, and just floor it in straight lines.. the TD6 doesn't hang about.. specially using the manual shifters. This one did have 31k on the clock and felt well run, but the interior was excellent. Really has made me think, a TDv8 version might be on the cards for the future.

Worthwhile test drive..

I've been thinking about this alot recently...what would I have next and I'm pretty convinced I wouldn't have another Sport. My next one would definitely be a FFRR TDV8 Vogue. With the revised interior too, its simply a beautiful car (IMHO)

Now I've had this one for a while, the difference in the quality of materials is very apparent, something I'd previously read about but couldn't conceptualise. However, I think it is true.(IMHO!) The Sport feels very plasticky compared, the leather quality is not as good, even the carpets feel cheaper.

Food for thought. L319 D4 HSE

I've heard of folks getting rental /loaners and taking stuff off them....................... but Kam it's taking a bit far to send your loaner back with a 5m stretch added to it isn't it? 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

i know mate!! ugly enough in normal size..

Insides were lovely though, didn't ride in them myself, just the family.. but we had silver ML, silver FFRR, and a Black FFRR and the stretch the first day, and then the other vehicles the second day.

I had the 530d Sport from Bmw GB for the second day, and with 19" wheels, run flats and sport suspension it rode very well compared to my 335d which is very firm!! nice cars.. enjoyed both.
