Stupid Question?

Why have the backs of my front seat belt buckles got what lookslike the furry side of velcro on them? Shocked http://www.black-code.co.uk

Hi,

possibly a countermeasure to stop them making any noise against the inside of your seat?

To stop them clunking against the centre console. Question
I fitted felt pads to my earlier Rangies for exactly that reason. Razz

I thought it may have been to stop it marking the side of the centre console from repeated movement - I imagine they'd scratch looking at the materials involved...

As Ivery819 has aready said, it is to stop the seat belt buckle stem from rattling against the centre console. Arctic Frost TDV6 SE. Aspen Leather, Cherry Wood, Privacy Glass, PTI, Tow Pack, Mudflaps, Tasmods, a new Fuelflap, a RRSport.co.uk umbrella in the boot & a RRSport.co.uk sticker on the rear glass.
