I get a loud clunk from steering/front suspension when I hit full right lock - is this normal? http://www.black-code.co.uk |

In access height it happens - it's fairly normal, you need to grease something but I cann't remember what. Do a search on our sister site disco3.co.uk there is plenty of talk there about it. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Wasn't it something to do with a brake line catching wheel weights?? Do you wheels have the sticky weights or clip ons?? If so there is a recall mod I .... recall ....

It is called "Lock Stop Graunch". The noise is caused by the lock stop fouling against the inside of the wheel hub/brake housing whilst on full lock, combined with the vehicle being in access mode. The noise will stop eventually, when the two metal faces have bedded into each other.
