transmission fault ?

hi guys, this has started popping up when i start my car up sometimes.
seems to happen at random?
any ideas pls ? is it something to worry about ?

Yes, it's a regular error message. A quick search of this site will offer up various discussions. At the end of the day, it's nothing you can fix, so you'll need to revisit your dealer Very Happy

Not quite true Shmoogle (you fool): I had a repetitive transmission fault for months which was eventually resolved by locating a loose lead along the wiring loom between gearbox and dashboard, thereby causing a "communication fault." So, if the dealer bothers to pull his finger out and contacts LR Technical Team, there may be a solution to hand!
