Android - 'unfortunately bluetooth share has stopped' fix

I've been getting this message when my phone tries to sync the phonebook with the head unit:

"unfortunately bluetooth share has stopped"

It makes the phone freeze up for a minute or two while it's trying to sync then the error comes up. You can still make and receive calls through the head unit but you can't access the phonebook and it won't tell you who is calling you.

To fix this issue do the following:

Settings

Applications

All (tab on top right)

LogsProvider

Clear data

Connect to the head unit

It will sync the phonebook almost immediately Thumbs Up

I've only had to do this once so far and it's worked ever since. Want to do a DIY job on your car? Check out the definitive 'how to' thread in the technical section Thumbs Up
