And with a hull form like that and the aerodynamic accommodation I bet it goes like a Thunderbird too. It might look pretty grim but it will be very fast and efficient too. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Looks like something out of a James Bond film.... bet it wasn't cheap, whether it looks good or not. Designed by Philippe Starck so I notice - doesn't he normally do furniture?

If you look at the shape of the glass panels at the front. The main two rows then you'll see they are the same sort of shape that his livery is in on his 767. Smile Michael Potter

If you scroll down that website there is also an item about Roman's next yacht that has just started building..... yes it's a lot bigger, probably uglier and much, much more expensive. The boat above is the Sigma, the next is Eclipse!

Project Eclipse
12 Mar 2008 09:46 :Blohm & Voss• Roman Abramovich• Under Construction
As work on the largest yacht ever built progresses, I thought I'd gather together some information here on the Roman Abramovich Eclipse project - rumoured for delivery in 2009.

At 13,000 GT it will be more than twice the volume of Sigma.

Name: Eclipse • # 978 ? • "RA162"
Length: 525 ft • 162 m ?
Year: 2009 ?
Builder: Blohm & Voss
Gross tonnage: 13000
Owner: Roman Abramovich

Here is an article at the WSJ with some details.

Report of a Vaudrey Miller tender launched in New Zealand, February 2008.

Here is a thread on PMY forums.

Now 162m is as big as quite a few ocean going merchant ships! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
