You won't believe this but in our village some of the population object to anybody driving at more than 10mph and have created such a fuss with the Chief Constable that he has caved in and given some of the residents lessons in how to use a "speed monitoring device" and now the chief agitator gets to stand at the side of the road waving his "hairdryer" at the oncoming traffic and scaring the wits out of the drivers who might be doing so much as 1mph over the limit....................................... then he has to note the registration and report it back to Police HQ who will despatch a policeman to visit the miscreant at home and give them a formal warning about speeding in the village.

I have to laugh as the person who has been the prime mover in this has been revealed to have received 6 points for speeding in local villages in the last 3 years Rolling with laughter So if you are driving through our village just watch out for the old bloke standing at the roadside right beside the 30mph sign "monitoring" traffic travelling in both directions.................... if you are over the 30mph limit then you WILL get a visit from a policeman. Just as well my road end it right beside the 30 sign so I'm never going fast enough in the 5 yards of road to get nabbed 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
