United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Autobiography Stornoway Grey
The Ideal Driveway

A post by Kam got me thinking, if you could only have two cars, what would they be and why would you choose them?

At this point in time I'd say my two would be the Range Rover Sport Supercharged that I have as it serves the load lugging and off road ability I need, plus a new BMW M5 for out and out speed.

Or, a Porsche 997 C2S coupe, cos that would keep the wife quiet (and she's looking to get one anyway, so this may come true!) L319 D4 HSE

I would have the bling orange RRS and an Aston (However that Bugatti on Top gear was nice) Seriously I think my HSE RRS and convertable mini Cooper S is near my perfect requiremnets - a third classic car would be good - an E-type in the garage for sunny days. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten
2009 Alaska TDV8 - Gone and much missed.

This is an ongoing conversation in our house!

For me and me alone, I'd also plump for the E60 M5 for sure. For the non-speedfreak part of my brain I'd probably end up with a big RR SC - it has more toys and is a more comfortable place to be than the RRS, yet still has enough poke to keep you happy. Obviously, I would have way too much money to care about running costs or depreciation but that's not part of the game in DreamWorld(TM) Wink

Not being in love with many cars, but the Aston DB9 for speed and daily use, also always wanted to drive a Hummer H2 just to see what they are like. But at the end of the day it would have to be good to be better than the car I own now.
Bugatti Veyron would have to be the ultimate dream car though as clarky said it makes you want to cream your pants but if I could choose my dream passenger for my dream car then Angelina Jolie would be getting the c***m. Cool Its out there somewhere. Second V10 Treg on the drive at the moment.

Someone recently said to me..
oh how nice is the M6, but i said i would prefer a new M5 for the £65k and a second hand M3 convertible for £25-30k and have a car for every occassion.. instead of paying the £90k for the one M6 which is the same as a M5 but - 2 doors.

I think my dream driveway would be:
RRS TDV6 (V8 as soon as it arrives) for the 4x4 (snowy days)
an M3 E90 Cab for the summer and an E60 M5 for the family sprints and business use

and a 320d sport for the tip runs and everyday driver that i don't mind getting door dings and scratches all over, tesco delivery car etc..

Currently we have my TDV6, My dads 735ise for the family/business car,
and a Renault Megane 2.0 hatch for the Censored car to bang around..
and a Saab 9-3 1.9tid (150) for my sister. Just need to change 3/4 cars to the dream spec and we are there..

I'd opt for the Aston Martin DB9 and probably the bigger RR because of the built/material quality - Robert

RR Sport S/C (for time being I wait for my TDV6 arriving in a week) and Aston Martin V12 Vanguish. These two would keep me smiling constantly. Wink

yeah this is a little expansive..
how big is the ideal driveway and how many cars can you fit on there?

M3 and RRS.

Although a DB9 is a great choice, I think I would go for the Bently Continental and my RRS vesuvius. I think at that point I need a third car as well, probably the Mercedes SL55.

England 2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black

In the real world, I'm as close to it as could ever wish to be....however in the dream world, but with only 2 cars it would be a RRS with the performance figures of a Cayenne Turbo and a Pagani Zonda F HSE TD6 (Java Black/Ivory)
911GT3 (Guards Red, carbon interior)
ElanSE (BRG)
Panamera Turbo S
Boxster S
